Tiny Techno Dance Party and Closing Night

  • Delight Factory 303 Saratoga Avenue Brooklyn, NY, 11233 United States (map)

A two-hour shoes-off dance party with glitchy-groovy techno beats created and performed live by Bearded Twin (aka Jason Nunes) on analog synthesizers, drum machines, and with sampled & live vocals.

Depending on the night, Tiny Techno Dance Party may include live drumming and other musical accompaniment. You are invited to get on the mic and improvise your own tiny techno vocals - because sometimes techno songs are too long.

This is the closing party of the Tiny Techno art exhibition. Enjoy the artwork, intimate beautiful space with club-level sound system and sprung floor, lounge in the chill audiovisual art installation Vibe Check, mingle at the bar, browse our tiny shop, and leave refueled and ready for the weekend.

7:45 PM Doors
8:00-10:00 PM DJ Set

Shoes off (or indoor shoes), water is provided.

About Tiny Techno

Tiny Techno is an audiovisual art project and collective created by Bearded Twin (aka Jason Nunes) and vocalized by Carley Moore to help you laugh, dance, and consider your own role in outer space. Are you an astronaut, an alien, a black hole, a spaceship, an angel, or a being unknown to earthlings?

The visual expression of Tiny Techno began with Jason’s childhood drawings of aliens and spaceships, sparking a sense of excitement and escapism. Over time, this creative energy expanded into music, art, and writing, though without a clear direction.

A turning point came with a voice text from Carley, which seamlessly fit into the music already in progress. Her words carried a playful, musical quality that came to life when combined with sound.

To create the imagery, Nunes collaborated with AI, which he recognizes presents ethical concerns, and it also enables the creation of images that complement the music, allowing for a cohesive artistic vision as a solo endeavor, with Carley as the vocalist.
