Plant: Movement Lab
Led By Zenni Corbin
Plant: Movement Lab is a dance workshop led by Zenni Corbin that attempts to gain a deeper understanding of how we define home and where it lives in the body. Participants will be guided through a series of interactive exercises that engage their memory through artistic expression. Incorporating poetry and writing exercises, this workshop aims to develop and explore what it means to build a home after being displaced, and how to find comfort through movement. Participants are asked to bring a small item from home that provides them a sense of place.
Movements developed in this workshop may find their way into the choreographic score of the performance DREGS, which will premiere at Delight Factory on October 26.
All bodies are welcome.
