Light Player: A ceremonial workshop offered by B new B

Light Player: A ceremonial workshop offered by B new B

The inauguration of Building New Bonds initiative by Mani Nilchiani and Nooshin Rostami.
Offering “Light Player”, a magical co-creation journey of resonant light and sound.

Light Player is an immersive ceremonial workshop of real-time spatial light drawings and live soundscapes. Nooshin invokes light through hand-made glass sculptures, mirrors, and lenses to project celestial landscapes while Mani weaves in ethereal vocals, wind, string, percussive and drone instruments.
Picture this: a dreamy trip to see the Northern Lights, only you don’t have to actually travel anywhere– and you get to play with the colors, textures and soundscape! During the event we invite you to co-create this immersive multi-sensorial experience, with guidance on how to activate your own voice and play light instruments.

Here’s what one of our participants has to say about the experience:

"It was as if I had been transported out of my day-to-day existence into a moment of trance. It's hard to articulate, but I felt transformed… The experience was a visual and creative form of meditation."

About the artists

We are Mani and Nooshin, self-made dreamers and doers. We create as artists, innovate as entrepreneurs, improvise as musicians, and wear many more hats, too.

We have spent the last 18 years carefully cultivating harmony in our lives.  Whether in our careers, or our relationship with one other– it’s been the project of a lifetime to envision and build a world of art that truly feels fulfilling and full of light.
